Start Point is Leesylvania State Park Administration Building, 703-670-0372. 16236 Nesbsco Rd. From I95 take Exit 156 East (Route 784) to Route 1. Turn right (south) on US 1 (Jeferson Davis Hwy). Turn left at 2nd light onto Neabsco Road (Route 610). Turn right into Leesylvania State Park. Start Box is located at the administration building just after park entrance. There is an entrance fee to enter the park.

Daily 8-5 and open holidays. Trail is rated 2+(3 in inclement weather) It is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Pets must be on leash. The route is on natural surface trails all within the park. There are very attractive woods, an estuary with many forms of wildlife to be seen and along a boardwalk and beach area.

Bring a camera, there are historic areas on the middle of the hike. The known history predates the revolution with the Lee and the Washington families.
